A family honored their late son Sunday through a chili cook-off, giving back to local students.
The 5th Annual Alex’s Chili Cook-Off For A Cause was held at the Greystone Brew House in Dillsburg.
To celebrate, a new HACC culinary scholarship was created, where Alex Smith graduated as a culinary arts student.
He later worked as a chef apprentice at Greystone before he passed away in 2018.
