It is the Foundations’ hope to continue Alex’s mission of “bringing people together with food” by awarding a Culinary Scholarship to Dauphin County Technical School students and a Sports/Culinary Scholarship to CD East students with similar interests, values and plans for future education or training.
We are pleased to announce that the Alex W. Smith Foundation partnered with HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, and the HACC Foundation to establish a scholarship in memory of Alex. Information about the scholarship can be found here.
The next deadline for current and prospective HACC Culinary students to apply for the scholarship is Oct. 15, 2024.
